National Skills Competition in Taiwan

TRT supports vocational education and skills development in Taiwan through sponsoring skills competitions

Since 1968, Taiwan has held the National Skills Competition every year to promote the development of vocational training and education, encourage people to learn skills, and improve national technical standards. The competition also serves as an important platform for selecting outstanding players to represent the country in international skills competitions. Competitors must be under 21 years of age to comply with the rules of the International Skills Competition.

In the bricklaying competition, cutting new materials such as refractory white bricks (AAC Autoclaved Lightweight Aerated Concrete) requires specialized tools, making it difficult for many students to find the right tools to use. The stone saws used in the market are not suitable for fine cutting due to rough cutting. However, TRT's plaster saws can provide students with suitable cutting tools, allowing them to use more delicate sawing methods to complete their creations. This sponsorship and support allowed students to complete the competition more smoothly and improve their skills.
